Canada Post adds postal services to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Riverstone Ridge in Fort McMurray, Alta.

FORT McMURRAY (Alta.) – Canada Post is pleased to welcome Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacist/owner Christopher White, at 103-112 Riverstone Ridge in Fort McMurray, Alta., as the most recent addition to its retail network. The new postal outlet opened for service today, offering all standard Canada Post products in addition to extended business hours.

“Canadians live busy lives and their postal needs are changing. Our goal is to make it easier for them to access our services. Working with local entrepreneurs like Mr. White enables us to do just that,” says Doug Jones, Senior Vice-President, Delivery and Customer Experience at Canada Post.

“We are tremendously ecstatic to serve the people of Timberlea and Fort McMurray with our new Canada Post outlet,” said Mr. White. “We have put together an absolutely amazing team of employees who are ready to provide outstanding customer service throughout the entire store. With the expertise and knowledge of our postal outlet manager Vicki Grant, we are prepared and extremely excited to help our customers with their postal needs."

The new postal outlet will offer parcel pickup, shipping, stamps, post office boxes, money orders, government forms including Revenue Canada and Passport Canada, and debit/credit card payments. Services will be available seven days a week – Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
