Free Mail forwarding/Change of Address continues to be offered for displaced customers

(Ottawa) Canada Post continues working on providing mail and parcel service throughout the communities affected by the flooding in Southern Alberta.  We thank Albertans for their patience and understanding throughout these circumstances.

The majority of delivery service in Calgary has been restored however some 2,000 addresses are still not accessible. Those residents will continue to pick up their mail until service can be restored.

High River residents will continue to pick up their mail at the Okotoks post office at 27 McRae Street, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.  There is now delivery to all secure accessible Community Mail Boxes in High River. Parcels and items requiring a signature will be available at the post office in Okotoks.

Mail delivery has resumed in Medicine Hat. For any addresses still not accessible, residents can pick up their mail at the postal outlet at 420 Kipling Street S.E. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Customers need to show government-issued photo identification when picking up their mail.
