Canada Post adds postal services to the Familiprix Extra on Masson Street in Montréal

OTTAWA - Canada Post is pleased to welcome Familiprix Extra owners Philippe Lavoie and Véronique Laporte, at 3815 Masson Street in Montréal (close to Maisonneuve Park), as the most recent addition to its retail network in Montréal. The new post office opened for service on June 19, offering all standard Canada Post products in addition to extended business hours.

"As the country's home delivery company, Canada Post must be proactive in responding to the ever-changing needs of our customers and we are continually working to improve service offerings for our consumers," says Doug Jones, Senior Vice-President, Delivery and Customer Experience at Canada Post. "Partnering with local entrepreneurs such as Mr. Lavoie and Ms. Laporte enables us to meet such needs."

"Adding Canada Post services to our store is about adding convenience for our customers," says Mr. Lavoie. "Our goal is to be a one-stop shopping and service experience for our Familiprix customers."

The new post office will offer the standard postal services including parcel pickup, stamps and shipping, post office boxes, money orders, government forms including Revenue Canada and Passport Canada, and debit and credit card payments. Services will be available seven days a week from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
