Toronto, ON – Horizon Utilities’ customers will now have the option of managing and paying their electricity bill through epost, Canada Post’s digital mailbox. Horizon Utilities is the second local Ontario electricity provider this month to join epost, along with Veridian Connections Inc. Electricity bills are just some of the local bills Canadians can find on epost, in addition to property tax, telecommunications, credit card statements and more.

epost offers one, convenient digital solution for consumers with one login and password, consolidating all household bills. It also links directly to the major banks so that Canadians can continue to pay their bills securely online with one click. This enables Canadians to get rid of paper bill clutter and save time online, and save money in the process by keeping track of bill due dates and avoiding late fees.

Horizon Utilities provides electricity and related utility services to 237,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in Hamilton and St. Catharines. Residents can log onto epost and look up the other bills and statements available within their local area, in addition to the numerous national ones.

epost has more than 250 bills and statements available and more than 8 million Canadians have the digital mailbox. epost is also available on Canada Post’s free mobile app, so that bills can be managed while on the go.
