Offers may be out of date on some mail due to effects of the recent work disruption

With mail delivery resuming this week, Canada Post is asking Canadians to be aware of expiry dates on any flyers and other direct mail they receive over the coming days.

Some of these flyers and Direct Mail pieces may have been mailed before the labour disruption began earlier this month. All mail in the system will be processed and delivered. As a result, Canadians may receive some advertising materials in the mail for sales or promotions that may no longer be in effect or for products that may no longer be available.

Canada Post regrets the impact of the work disruption and apologizes to Canadians and retailers for this inconvenience and any resulting confusion. We thank Canadians for their patience as we restore our network to normal delivery standards.
