As President and Chief Executive Officer of Canada Post, Doug is leading the organization through a significant strategic transformation built to meet the evolving expectations of Canadians. Since taking the role in 2019, he’s focused the organization on creating value for customers while reinforcing the important role it plays in the Canadian economy by serving every address, every business, and every community.
The transformation is guided by the Corporation’s purpose, A Stronger Canada – Delivered. Through strategic investments and innovations, the company is improving service and building the capacity needed to ensure it remains Canada’s ecommerce delivery leader. With a strong commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, the company under Doug’s leadership is working to reduce its environmental footprint, ensure employees are safe and supported, and investing in communities across the country.
Prior to being named President and CEO, Doug served as Chief Commercial Officer for Canada Post from 2016, leading growth strategies for Canada Post’s Parcels, Direct Marketing and Transaction Mail businesses. A key member of the Senior Executive team, he oversaw all commercial functions, including Sales, Marketing, Retail, Digital, Business Development and Customer Service.
An accomplished senior executive with a strong focus on customer service, Doug has more than 30 years experience leading sales, marketing, and product management in Canadian and global organizations, and managing complex business transformations. He was President and CEO of Scotsburn Dairy Group, the largest Atlantic Canadian-owned dairy processor and distributor, as well as President and CEO of Ganong Bros. Limited, one of Canada’s oldest family businesses. Previously, he held executive roles with Parmalat, Nestlé and Coca-Cola.
Doug also chairs the board of Innovapost and serves on the board of Purolator.
While Doug’s career has taken him to communities large and small, his roots will always be in Nova Scotia, where he was born and raised. Doug is a proud alumnus of Dalhousie University in Halifax, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters in Business Administration.
Franco Chirichella

Franco oversees all aspects of Canada Post’s information technology (IT) activities. He is responsible for providing vision, direction and leadership for the Corporation’s overall IT strategy, and for driving innovation to support current and future IT needs.
Franco was appointed to his current role in April 2024 after more than three years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Innovapost. He has more than 20 years of experience at Canada Post and Innovapost managing teams of technology and business professionals to deliver large-scale software development and business process transformations.
Franco holds a Master of Business Administration in innovation from the University of Fredericton, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. He also holds a Project Management designation and is Agile Certified.
Franco lives in Toronto with his wife and two sons.

Nathalie leads our Legal, Corporate Secretariat, and Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) teams. She is responsible for providing strategic legal counsel to Canada Post, its subsidiaries and the Board of Directors and ensuring that our business practices, policies, and dealings meet regulatory requirements and the changing needs of our competitive marketplace.
In addition to being the Corporate Secretary, Nathalie leads the continued implementation of our ESG strategy, including key areas such as sustainability, accessibility, openness and transparency – with the goal of a greener, more inclusive Canada Post.
Nathalie is bilingual and has over 25 years of legal and governance experience across various industries, including consumer packaged goods, telehealth, and travel. Nathalie was most recently the General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Privacy Officer at Dialogue Health Technologies Inc.
Prior to joining Dialogue, Nathalie held progressively senior roles over 18 years at Molson Coors Beverage Company, culminating as the Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer for the company’s Canadian operations. Other past roles included: Director, Legal Affairs and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Transat A.T. Inc. and Associate in the corporate and commercial legal practice of Bélanger Sauvé in Montreal. Nathalie holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Laval University in Québec City.

Jan sets the strategic direction for Canada Post’s financial management and provides leadership throughout the company to help drive major business initiatives in the interest of all Canadians. He manages Canada Post’s financial position, oversees financial processes and leads the Finance, Procurement, Audit and Pension Investment teams.
Appointed in July 2021 as Canada Post’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jan brings senior-level experience in finance and global markets. He previously served as CFO of Molson Coors Canada and Polpharma in Europe. As Vice-President of finance at SABMiller Poland, and Danone in France, he specialized in risk management, global procurement and investor relations. Jan started his career in corporate finance with the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, after serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Most recently, he was CFO of GreenSpace Brands, a publicly traded company based in Toronto.
With senior-level experience in corporate transformation, Jan works closely with senior leaders to execute Canada Post’s transformation plan and help the corporation better meet Canadians’ evolving needs and expectations. Fluent in English, French and Polish, Jan is a graduate of Tufts University, has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, and completed the INSEAD business school’s Advanced Management Program in France.
Manon Fortin

Manon leads all operational aspects of Canada Post’s business, including Plants, Delivery, Engineering, Network and Real Estate. She ensures Canada Post maintains a highly efficient network and safe operation.
Manon also advances Canada Post’s transformation by prioritizing the safety and well-being of employees and customers and implementing operational changes to better meet the needs and expectations of all Canadians. She is a recognized leader who has served in progressively more senior roles in her more than 27 years in Retail and Operations at Canada Post. She has been a leader in Operations from the Prairies to the Maritimes.
Most recently, Manon was VP, Operations, where she led the optimization of Canada Post’s national end-to-end operations. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa.
Rod Hart

In this role, Rod provides leadership and oversight for the growth strategies for Canada Post’s Parcels, Direct Marketing and Transaction Mail businesses and all commercial functions, including Sales, Marketing, Retail, Digital, International Development and Customer Service.
Prior to this, Rod was Vice-President, Parcels and International Business, where he was responsible for the growth strategy, product and solution design, overall performance and profitability of Canada Post’s Parcels and International Business.
Rod started his career at Canada Post in 1994 and held progressively responsible roles both in the field and at Head Office in sales, business and market development, parcels product management and international business areas. He was previously General Manager, Domestic Parcels & E-commerce Market Development, where he expanded Canada Post’s capabilities in the e-commerce segment to support retailers and consumers with the incredible growth of online shopping in Canada. He is a recognized leader in the Canadian parcels and e-commerce sector.
Rod holds an HBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He lives in Ottawa with his wife and three children.
Susan Margles

In this role, Susan leads all aspects of Human Resources while advancing safety as the company’s top priority. She is also responsible for supporting collaborative efforts with all of our bargaining agents across the company.
In her previous role as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs, Susan was responsible for Government and Community Affairs, Compliance and for leading the shift to integrating Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into our corporate priorities.
Susan has served as a key advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, playing a critical role in setting the Corporation's strategic direction through development and approval of the five-year corporate plan, as well as successfully leading the company through several mandate reviews.
Susan joined Canada Post in 2005 from the federal government, where she worked in increasingly senior positions in several different departments, including the Department of Finance, Transport Canada, Industry Canada and Health Canada.
Throughout her career, Susan has established excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders, bringing together divergent interests on highly sensitive issues. She is known for her strong communication skills and ability to bring complex issues to ground.
Susan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation, a trustee of the Canada Post Community Foundation and a mentor in the Women’s Executive Network. She is fluently bilingual and holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and an MBA from McGill University. She is married and is the mother of two.
Jo-Anne Polak

In this role, Jo-Anne is responsible for aligning and integrating internal and external communication strategies to enhance business results, corporate brand and other important company priorities, including safety and mental health.
Jo-Anne was Vice-President, Communications and Public Affairs at Canada Post from April 2011 to October 2019. She joined the company in April 2008 as General Manager, Communications Strategy. Prior to that, she spent 14 years as Senior Vice-President with Hill & Knowlton, one of the world’s leading public relations, public affairs and strategic communications agencies.
In December of 1988, at the age of 29, Jo-Anne was named General Manager of the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League. At the time, she was the first female General Manager of any professional sports franchise in North America. Following three seasons with the team, Jo-Anne spent two years as a morning show co-host on an Ottawa radio station before moving to Hill & Knowlton.

Nish Anjaria

Nish is responsible for determining Canada Post’s strategic information technology (IT) priorities and leading technology innovation. He also plays a key role in the planning and delivery of new initiatives and solutions for the company’s existing IT architecture.
Nish brings more than 25 years of experience managing large-scale application development programs, leading digital and agile transformations, implementing business improvement practices, and driving business strategy.
Nish previously worked at Innovapost for 15 years, where he held increasingly senior leadership positions supporting the IT needs of the Canada Post Group of Companies. He has also worked with Dell Canada and held senior management positions with major international organizations.
Nish holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Business Administration from Sardar Patel University in India and is currently pursuing an executive program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Nish was born in India and moved to Canada in the mid-2000s. He currently resides in Ottawa with his wife and son.
Daniel Beaulne

Daniel is responsible for advancing Canada Post’s safety culture – building on employee physical and psychological safety and prevention initiatives, with a goal to achieve best-in-class safety results. Under Daniel’s direction, Canada Post will continue to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in effectively executing its safety strategy while also managing its ongoing response to COVID-19.
Daniel joined Canada Post in 2000 as a Local Area Manager and has held several leadership positions in Operations, Retail, Process Excellence and Marketing. Most recently, he was General Manager, Health and Safety.
Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business, and a General Certification in Health and Safety from the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH). He is also a member in good standing with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
Alexandre Brisson

As Vice-President, Engineering, Alexandre oversees the execution of capital investment projects to increase parcel capacity and improve service while reducing operational costs. He was previously Vice-President, Business Transformation.
Alexandre is a senior executive with more than 20 years’ experience in strategy, business transformation, process optimization and program delivery. In his role as Vice-President Multimodal Innovation at CN Railway, Alexandre led the strategy to transform CN from a railroad-centric company to an integrated end-to-end logistics business. He has also worked on significant IT initiatives, highlighting the need to invest differently in technology with a focus on customer experience. He has also worked for Accenture in a variety of process and project management roles.
He completed a Master of Business Administration from McGill-HEC and a degree in Chemical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal.
Michael Butera

In this role, Michael oversees the priorities and investment plans of the Pension Fund and manages the Investment team for Canada Post to support one of Canada’s largest single employer-sponsored pension plans. Michael also sits as a member of the Investment Advisory Committee and Pension Advisory Council.
Michael joined Canada Post in 2001 as Director, Investment Research and Policy and has in-depth knowledge of the investment portfolios within the Pension Investment division. He previously served as General Manager, External Portfolios and became the Plan’s Risk Management Officer in 2010.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) – Finance from Brock University in 1985. He also completed the Harvard Business School Investment Management Workshop in 2005. He is a member of both the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC) and the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance (CCGG).

Appointed in 2022, Carrie has a key leadership role in Canada Post’s ESG strategic vision to deliver sustainable and responsible growth and value, moving the company from its current state to one of deeper maturity in this area.
Canada Post is committed to playing a leading role on the environment and key social issues facing the country. Elevating the impact of ESG across the company is one of three pillars of the Transformation Plan.
In this role, Carrie is critical in supporting the company’s objective to evolve the ESG strategy and integrate it into all areas of the business. This effort builds ESG value-based principles into planning, decision making and execution across the Corporation.
Carrie oversees the Corporate Sustainability and ESG team, and the Corporate Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team.
Since joining Canada Post in 2006, Carrie has held a variety of progressively more responsible positions, including manager roles in Product Development, Process Design & Continuous Improvement, and End-to-End Projects with Address Management. She was also Director, Digital Integration; General Manager, Integration and Planning; and, most recently, Executive Chief of Staff to the President and CEO.
Carrie received her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing and International Management from the University of Ottawa. She also completed the Rotman course “Sustainability Leadership: Innovation for Growth.” Carrie is married and has a young son.
Rindala El-Hage

Rindala is responsible for all facets of Canada’s Post core financial activities and accountability, including oversight of financial reporting and analytics, financial decision-making, budget management, and controllership.
Rindala was appointed to her current role on a permanent basis in July 2023 after seven months as interim Vice-President, Finance and Controller. Prior to that, she was General Manager, Finance Controller. Rindala first joined Canada Post in 1998 as an Officer in Tax Services and has progressively served in more senior roles including General Manager, Treasury, Taxation and Pension Finance
Rindala has also served as an auditor and tax professional at Deloitte & Touche as well as Raymond Chabot Martin Pare. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Ottawa. Rindala is married with a daughter.
Jon Hamilton

Jon leads the development and execution of strategic communications to key internal and external audiences. He works closely with the President and CEO, the Senior Vice-President of Corporate and Employee Communications, and other senior leaders to provide communications advice and guidance on corporate initiatives and issues management.
Since joining Canada Post as a General Manager in 2009, Jon has played a key role in the creation and implementation of Canada Post’s corporate communications amid transformational change. He serves as a senior spokesperson and leads the strategic departments within the company’s communications team.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Lakehead University and a diploma in broadcast journalism from Fanshawe College. Before joining Canada Post, he served as director of communications and stakeholder relations for Suncor/Petro-Canada and has a background in broadcast journalism and government.

As Vice-President, Business Transformation, Ian prioritizes and integrates corporate strategies, investments and innovations to position Canada Post for sustainable growth and profitability. This helps us become a more agile organization, improving the customer and employee experience. He was previously Vice-President, Operations Transformation.
Ian joined Canada Post in 2008 as a Senior Lead on the Corporation’s $2-billion Postal Transformation Program, and has been instrumental to the company’s evolution ever since.
Ian led the Process Engineering team from 2012 before being promoted to Vice-President, Engineering.
Throughout his career at Canada Post, Ian has played a leading role in introducing new material handling equipment and systems and new and improved processing strategies, including machine sequencing and parcel sorters and scanning solutions.
Ian started his career as a Systems Engineer with Bombardier Inc. in 1985, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he supported the development of civil and military aircraft. Before joining Canada Post, he was Group Vice-President, Continuous Improvement, for Bombardier Transportation, based in Berlin, Germany.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree and an MBA in Technology Management from Queen’s University, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and is a chartered member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He is married with four children.
Alice Lafferty

Appointed in June 2021, Alice oversees and manages continuous service improvement in Canada Post’s operations. Among other things, she is responsible for capacity, productivity and infrastructure development. In this role, she also ensures that best practices result in the best possible delivery service.
Since joining Canada Post in 2004, Alice has held progressively more senior roles in Product Development and Management. She has served as a General Manager since 2008, with roles in the Transaction Mail line of business, Enterprise Marketing, Customer Experience, Domestic Parcels and ecommerce. She was most recently General Manager of Domestic Parcels and ecommerce.
In Alice’s previous roles she has been a leader of product solution and design, profitability and growth strategies, and a champion of the customer experience. Her commercial performance focus, combined with knowledge of all products as well as the operations team, will help us better fulfill our purpose: A Stronger Canada – delivered.
Alice is bilingual and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.
Dan Michelone

Dan is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Canada Post’s information technology (IT) solutions, from design and planning to implementation and operations. In this role, he is responsible for formulating and executing short-term and long-term IT strategies for the company.
Dan was appointed to his role in April 2024 after nearly 20 years with Innovapost. During that time, he led and was accountable for some of the company's most significant and complex projects, including the Agile Transformation. Most recently, he was the Executive Lead responsible for application delivery and maintenance across all aspects of the business.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Information Systems from Paulista University in São Paulo, Brazil (Valedictorian). His credentials also include being a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Change Practitioner (PROSCI), and a Scale Agile Professional (SAFe). Prior to his tenure at Innovapost, Dan held senior IT delivery positions at Ernst & Young Consulting.
Born in Brazil to a family of third-generation Italian immigrants, Dan moved to Canada in 2002 and became a Canadian citizen in 2006. He currently resides in Ottawa with his wife and two children.
Serge Pitre

He is responsible for the Canadian, U.S. and International commercial markets representing more than $4 billion in annual revenue at Canada Post. Serge brings to this role strategic and change management skills, and a solid track record at the senior management level of successfully leading national teams with responsibility for Sales, Marketing and Customer Services.
Before joining Canada Post, Mr. Pitre was Corporate Vice-President, Sales, at Relizon Canada, formerly Crain-Drummond. His career began at Moore Canada, where over a period of 13 years he progressed to increasingly more senior sales and marketing management roles.
Serge was born in Montreal where he completed his studies. Serge is married and lives with his wife in the West Island of Montreal.
Mike Shearon

Mike oversees Canada Post’s national end-to-end operations and the implementation of operational changes to better meet the evolving needs and expectations of Canadians. He manages all field operations in the country to ensure we meet our business objectives and innovate to improve our service standards.
Driven to deliver a superior customer experience, Mike intimately understands our commitment to putting Canadians first. His three decades of experience in Operations with Canada Post make him ideal for the role he holds today, and will help us deliver a stronger Canada.
Mike joined the company as a casual employee at the Ottawa Mail Processing Plant in 1993 and has held progressively more senior roles since. He has been a manager, director or General Manager in Ontario, Atlantic Canada, Western Canada, and the Pacific region. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the GTA region, one the busiest posts in the country.
Fluent in English and French, Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University as well as a Lean Black Belt certification. Mike is married and enjoys running, biking and swimming.
Louise Taylor Green

In her role as interim Vice-President, Human Resources and Employee Experience, Louise oversees HR operations both in the field and at Head Office, along with overseeing Canada Post’s culture and employee experience.
With more than 25 years of experience in senior executive roles, Louise most recently served as CEO of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) prior to joining Canada Post in October 2023. Her significant HR experience also included a position as Senior Vice-President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Economical Insurance, where she helped implement organizational change management through a people-first agenda modelled on inclusion and cultural transformation.
Louise holds an MBA, is a certified management consultant, a regulated HR professional (CHRL, CHRE), and a professional coach with the International Coaching Federation. She also holds her ICD.D designation, having completed her Director education through the Rotman ICD program at the University of Toronto.
Louise lives and works in Ancaster, Ontario, regularly travelling to Canada Post locations across the country.
Michael Yee

As Vice-President, Retail Network and Services, Michael oversees the overall priorities of Canada Post’s corporate and franchise retail network and is responsible for building Financial Services into a new line of business. His responsibilities include continuing to modernize our retail experience and offering new products and services that will help us meet the diverse needs of Canadians. He also oversees the vision, strategy and execution of the Financial Services business, consistent with Canada Post’s evolving needs and strategy.
Michael joined Canada Post from McKinsey & Company, where he gained extensive experience advising senior executives and leading digital, new-business building, operational and marketing transformations for clients. He has previously served clients globally across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America across industries (banks, insurers, retailers, loyalty players, agricultural clients).
Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree and PhD in Physics from Harvard University.
